Gator Smiles is a new service club that supports UF & Shand's crainiofacial clinics and raises money for Love Without Boundaries, an organization which provides underprivileged orphan children with cleft lip/palate surgeries.
To be an active member of Gator Smiles you must meet the following requirements:
- Attend 2 of the 4 general meetings
- Participate in 1 Advocacy activity (includes things like making cards for the kids at Shands, flyering or tabling for an event, ect)
- Participate in 2 small fundraisers (bakesale, ben-n-jerry's night, ect) and 1 main fundraiser (5k run, pumpkin patch, ect)
- Pay dues
- $10 for new members
- $7 for returning members (the money collected in dues goes to providing surgeries)
You do NOT have to be a member of Gator Smiles however to participate in fundraisers, events or donate to this wonderful cause!
